but since nobody told me to extend it longer than another hour the contest is over now

Finally the time has come for my very first contest!

Everything is ready and I am soooooo excited!
I really hope many people will join x3

     Note: If you are just interested in entering and nothing else feel free to skip this part
     _{_{Gosh, that sounds so rude now that I see it o.o It's not meant to be, really! >.<}}

     I actually thought a looooooot about my comic the last years and how I want to publish it and after
     talking to friends and a lot of thinking I've come to the decision it will be a mixed thing, some parts
     will be drawn, some written, some will be videos and so on. But what I really want is that my comic
     belongs to me, with a real copyright. And because of that I needed another style than the
     Sonic-Style because it belongs to Sega. It's not like I don't like drawing my characters in that style
     anymore please don't think that, this is just for the copyright and I guess for the comic itself.
     Drawing them as mobians is just as right as it always has been

_{And I honestly think the new style does not look sooo different from the Sonic one xD}

     I have two Sonic-styled hedgehog characters that need hair because I'm going to make a
     comic and they won't be Sonic-characters in that comic (but still animal-lish characters).

     So this is a Hairstyle-Design-Contest!

     So what you have to do:

Design a hairstyle for my characters Damian and Taylor

You are absolutly free to draw them in any style you want
_{Anthro, Human, Cartoonish, Anime/Manga, even Sonic style, just with hair instead of spines}

You should try to draw both my characters
               _{Note: Don't worry, you can win if I just like one of your designs (that's also the reason why
              the first place is actually splitted in two places)}

You can enter with as many entrys as you want

You can enter with sketches, but everything should be colored

You can change the colors slightly or add some different colored strands if you feel like it

No recolors or stolen art

Since this is just a design-contest bases are allowed as long as you give credit to the person who made
the base

You can only win one place (but you can win both first places)

I might mix the winning designs or make some small changes

The winning designs will belong to me. I will give you credit in the
                 first picture I am going to draw with the winning designs and in all credit pages of my comic,
                 but not in every single little picture.

     Things you should keep in mind:

DON'T draw my characters without there necklaces!!! Even if
it's just a sketch!!!

Don't forget their eyebrows please

Keep their ages in mind (22 and 23)

They are still going to be hedgehogs in the future, so it might be a
good idea to stay with their original ears ;3

For the winning design, I will look how good the
              hairstyle fits the characters design and personality, so I need to see
              my character in your design, just so you know

Yes, those two are a couple. Besides that they are Angels and stuff,
but I don't think this is important for this contest ;3

          Status:       Dead (Angel)

     Damian ("Danny") is a cheerful man. He loves almost
     all kinds of sports, especially the more extreme ones.
     Besides that he's always friendly and cheerful, so he
     gets along well with almost everybody. He works as
     an elementary school teacher for usual and unusual
     kids (vampires and such) and really enjoys
     it. He also has kind of a side job in a bar one or two times
     a week. He loves any kind of sweets, especially chocolate stuff.
     He likes it a bit to get near to danger but also enjoys
     silent moments with his love.
     Besides that Damian is a pretty great speaker
     and it's no difficulty for him to give people new
     hope just using his words.

          Name:        Taylor Corey
          Age:           22
          Species:     Hedgehog
          Status:       Dead (Angel)

     Taylor is a grumpy lady, especially when it comes to Damian
     doing stupid stuff. Otherwise she is really polite and calm, as
     long as everything goes as planned. She can never smile, thanks
     to the curse of an angry wizard. She likes to have all her stuff
     perfectly organized and owns a giant library. She is a really
     strong and poweful angel.
     Her special abilities are understanding the language of all
     kinds of animals and speaking to them, which is one of
     the reaons she likes to spend a lot of time outside in the
     woods with her animalistic friends.
     She is an exellent cook, works in a café and absolutly
     hates wearing dresses or skirts without any kind of trousers
     under them.
     Her judgement is often firm but always fair.

     Attention! I splitted the first place into two places, because you
     are drawing two characters. It might happen, that I like Damian in one entry, and Taylor in another,
   so this way, you guys are able to win, even if I just like one of your designs!
   I don't have enough points to splitt all places though...
     Anyway: Yes, you can win both first places, if that's
   the case you get 4000 dA points, but still 1 full picture, 2 Chibis and 2 Icons.

     I just thought you might want to see how others tried c:
     The first four are done by me (I have like a hundred more, but it would have been too much work to upload all of them)
     It's not like I dislike the ones I did, but I felt like those are not the ones I am really looking for...
     The other ones are done by other people, and I must say they are all absolutely amazing!
     I really hope it's okay that I show them here ^.^'

Oh yeah one last thing...

This whole thing really means a lot to me, because it brings me one step closer to share the stories
I have been working on for soooo long, and this is why I want you to do me a small favour
