It's Magic - Sketches

Some of my studies for my comic-story-thingie~

I thought quite a lot about what magic could look like for my characters and here are some examples.

Used my character Arthur for this, since he's the most powerful being in my story.
Wait... I guess this is the first time I uploaded something of him on this account....

Alright well, a few weeks ago when I was drawing a sketch of him, I suddenly realized
that he slowly and sneaky became one of my main characters. I have absolutely no idea when that happened xD
But I can tell you that he is the most detailed character I've ever made.

Short info: He's usually calm, polite, silent and... "silent waters run deep" describes him pretty good xD
He likes tea, books and making people happy. He doesn't like surprisingly cold water, eating in bed and probably himself.
 
You might see more of him here in the future~



Anyway I played with different kinds of magic and made different theories about all that stuff.
I am thinking of making something like a sheet with designs free to use, especially for elements.

None of the shown magical things has something to do with elements, so this is not water or fire.

In my world, the color of magic depends on your eyecolor, except for special spells or kind of magic.

From left to right~

In the first one he is "floating" a little of his magic though his little assistant, because she loves magical stuff, but is not able
to use magic in that way, and she is using it to help a little plant.

The second one is showing black magic, in that kind stealing powers and life force.
_{And that he is able to do stuff like that is actually a really bad thing...}

The third one is a simple form of defence.

The fourth one is showing one of the later parts of the revolution of Erasmus.
Arthurs story is long and really complex, so I can't explain it here right now xD

The next one just shows a form of free-time magic, that has not much use,
except for light and filling the air with energy.

The one after that is him as a kid, I guess about ten years old, performing
a simple portal spell.

And the last one is not the usual magic. In my wold many people have natural powers, and
his natural power alows him to jump though time like he wants it c:
